Being photographed by Kelsy is like hanging out with a friend. She’s a relatable, kind, genuine person whose passion for life is evident from the moment you meet. I blog-stalked Kelsy for at least a year before I got engaged and booked a meeting with her before I had a venue because I knew she had to be part of our day. She somehow even managed to exceed our expectations. From engagement to wedding to newborn and lifestyle sessions I can truly say there isn’t a bad photo ... and it just felt like we were visiting with a friend. No pressure. No stress. Just true to life natural, feel good, photos.

Four months after these family photos were taken my father was sadly taken from us. These photos are not only beautiful and show case our large family beautifully, but they are the last pictures we have of our dad. Kelsy was not only able to get the most amazing photos of each of our families but through these pictures she was able to tell a story. A story of a husband, father and grandfather who was the pillar of strength in his large family. A man that didn’t come from much but with his family he had everything. We are extremely sad for his loss but we are grateful we have these pictures to cherish in the future.
