Ahhhh, the beautiful day that was Amanda & Mark’s. I’m happy just thinking back to it. A little bit of rain in the morning for good luck, a bit of sunshine and heat in the afternoon for pictures and a whole a lot fun in the evening. Mark’s Mother married them in a beautiful ceremony that was personal and heartwarming. It even included the sweetest flower girl ever. The day was executed perfectly by Behind the Scenes Events and nothing could have ran smoother….. they definitely deserved a perfect day after they found out (much to close to their wedding date) that their caterer had closed up shop without informing any of their pre-paid clients. Arghhh! How frustrating is it when people take advantage of good and hardworking people? It’s disappointing when businesses have no ethics. What a (expensive!) pain for this awesome couple. Good thing there is a thing called karma 🙂 Of course Amanda and Mark put it behind them and had an AMAZING dinner catered by the fab folks over at Culina, and they enjoyed the day to it’s absolute fullest.
All day my second shooter Carla and I kept trying to figure out what beautiful celebrity Amanda looks like. Finally at dinner it dawned on Carla! She’s the splitting image of Katherine Higel! So gorgeous. She made it a very easy day 🙂 I’m a pretty lucky wedding photographer. I know I keep saying to my friends and family how great this year has been because of the awesome (and beautiful) couples I’ve got to work with, but I’m going to say it again. How lucky am I? Thank you Amanda and Mark for a great day full of love, tears and smiles. You obviously make each other so happy and there’s nothing better to witness
