I just received news that my entry in the Professional Photographers of Canada annual image competition has done well. In fact, my wedding album submission has won Album of the Year for all of Canada. I have won the Alberta wedding album competition for four years in a row but I have never won nationally, so it is very exciting!
Natalie and Kyle’s wedding album, shot in Holguin, Cuba, is a square 12×12 inch album printed on fine art paper. Next time you come to the studio please check it out. It won this spring in the Alberta competition and it was a great surprise for it to win at PPOC’s Canada-wide competition.
My other entries did well too- An image from Gabby & Dom’s Edmonton wedding took first place in the Alberta Competition and one of Oksana & Curtis’s engagement portraits was chosen to be part of the 2010National Image Salon book since it received a high score.
Just wanted to give a shout out to Natalie & Kyle, Gabby & Dom and Oksana & Curt for being beautiful people and allowing me to photograph you. I certainly have the best clients ever.
