Outdoor Newborn Photography in Edmonton
Sunlight and snuggles were the themes of this family’s session! It was a beautiful day to explore the Edmonton River Valley. The late afternoon light filtered through the trees magically, creating the most amazing backdrop for our shoot. I just love spending time in the forest! Especially when I get to spend it with amazing clients like these! This incredible family was so much fun to photograph. We played, explored nature, giggled, and had so many silly moments. Mom and Dad were the absolute sweetest, and their busy little boy kept us on our toes throughout the shoot!
I am so honoured that this family chose me to capture their newborn baby’s first portrait photography session! My heart sings every time I get the opportunity to record this special time in a family’s life. Welcoming a newborn into the world is so magical and every moment spent is a special treasure. Mom, Dad and big brother were just glowing with love throughout the session. I can already tell that these two brothers are going to be the best of friends! This sweet baby was so precious and it is clear that he is already bringing so much joy into the world.
Outdoor sessions will always be one of my favourite ways to photograph newborns. Each session is always so simple and natural. There is no pressure, no fuss, and it allows families to relax together and just go with the flow. Instead of fancy styling and colour matching, these sessions become about pure emotion and connection. The photographs I take will not only help you remember the little expressions and moments with your new baby, but they will also help you remember what you were feeling at the moment in time. And that to me, is priceless. Especially when time goes by in a blink.
