Why would I need family photography this of all years?

September 18, 2020
Over the past few months I’ve photographed so many beautiful families. Every unique story interwoven together telling us the beauty that has appeared through 2020. I’ve photographed rainbow babies, aging grandparents, families celebrating new beginnings and saying difficult goodbyes. I’ve photographed the bits of amazing in-between the difficult. I’ve photographed the beauty and love that is your family. Life isn’t always going to be like it is today.  Our lives are moving fast whether we recognize the abundance of the present or not. The kids aren’t always going to be little. The teenagers aren’t always going to be difficult. I’m just here to ask you to celebrate where you are at. The good, the sad and the amazing. Life isn’t always going to be like this, and it’s breathtakingly beautiful.

Let’s document the beauty that is your family as they are now. Ever-changing and perfectly imperfect. I’m getting down to my final spots for lifestyle session in fall 2020. If you’re wanting the changing fall leaves in your portraits, please send me a message so I can fit you in. I know Covid has cancelled a lot on people, but it hasn’t cancelled love, beauty  or connection.  It’s in front of us every day. We just need to embrace it.
Lots of love from my family to yours,
