Patel Family- Edmonton Lifestyle Photography

November 8, 2012

One of my favourite families of all time invited me out to their grandparents farm for their annual family portraits. I photographed their wedding the very first year I opened my business and I’ve seen them every year since. We always have so much fun during their sessions and this fall was no exception. I was treated to a day in the country and they were so kind to even invite my little girls along for a playdate. Violet got a tractor ride, had fun exploring the garden and enjoyed running around in the fresh country air. She didn’t want to leave. We were also treated to a wonderful lunch straight from the garden made by Jessica’s lovely Grandma.  Seeing the Patel Family along with  little Amara & Alyssa is a highlight of my year and I am so grateful that such wonderful clients have turned into great friends.

Hugs,

Kelsy

Hi Kelsey!

First of all, I just want to tell you how much I love your work- your lighting and editing is divine and I hope to one day get to your level on my photographic journey. 🙂

I ran into your site through Pinterest (of course), and was just randomly going through your posts and came upon this one…and kinda freaked out! I live in Orange County, and randomly was shopping at a mall in Costa Mesa and grabbing a smoothie at a Juice shop. There was a sweet dad in front of me with two little girls that looked about the ages of my two little girls. I was chatting with him about how wild and fun two little girls are and how much his little ones reminded me of mine (I was on a shopping date by myself). He then told me they were on vacation from Edmonton. And then…I see this post, and I’m 99% sure it was them!! You should ask him if remembers…and if this is true, that is so bizarre and such a small world.

Anyway, just wanted to share this random fact…hahaha, and maybe bring a smile to your face. 🙂

Kelsey,

Thanks once again for capturing the love, spirit and pure joy of all the girls and Yatin. The setting at the Smith’s was fantastic. Nana and Grandpa
